Every place is covered by white snow in the winter. Skiing and other winter sports are very popular, but you can also try jigging or safaris by snowmobile, dog team or reindeer.

Traditional reindeer herding is still alive here, as well as fishing, hunting, and berry picking. However, tourism and other services are the main source of livelihood nowadays.
